1. Why Zooming Through Academy?

Our name reflects both how we teach and what we hope to inspire. Many of our live classes are taught through Zoom, connecting students with experienced teachers and peers from anywhere.

We also believe learning should move students forward. Whether they're accelerating through mathematics, gaining confidence in a challenging subject, or reaching new academic goals, we want students to advance.

 

At Zooming Through Academy, we're passionate about helping every student move forward with confidence.
 

 

2. What classes do you offer? 
 
Zooming Through Academy is currently proud to offer mathematics courses through Zooming Through Math, including:

🔸Algebra 1

🔸Geometry 

🔸Algebra 2

🔸Precalculus 

🔸Intro to Statistics

 

Additional subject areas are planned as the academy grows.

 
3. What learning options are available? 
 
Courses my be offered in one or more of the following formats: 

🔸Live weekly instructor-led class 
🔸Asynchronous courses with live teacher support

🔸Self-paced courses

 

Course availability varies by class.

4. Who teaches the courses?
 
Every course is taught by an experienced educator who is passionate about their subject and committed to helping students succeed.

 

Our goal is to combine excellent instruction with meaningful relationships and individualized support
 

5. What ages/grade levels do you serve?  

Our courses are designed primarily for middle and high school students.

 

Course recommendations are based on readiness rather than grade level alone.
 

6. What technology does my student need?

Students need a reliable internet connection, a computer or laptop, and access to Zoom for live classes. 

 

Other specific technology requirements will be provided by the instructor before the course begins.  

7. Can students accelerate their education?

Absolutely! Many students choose online learning because it allows them to move ahead in their classes or complete courses on a schedule that best first their educational goals.

 

We work with students who travel Europe, live on sailboats, are pre-professional musicians and more!

 

8. How much teacher interaction is included? 

Lots! We believe relationships are an important part of learning. Teachers will handle giving homework and assessments, grading and feedback and maintaining up-to-date gradebooks to track your student's progress. 

 

Students will receive instruction, feedback, and support from a real teacher... not just an online program.
